- Above class open to graduates only
This course develops graduate students' teaching philosophies and skills in the classroom. It explores questions such as: How does our identity and embodiment complicate our work as religious studies teachers, particularly when we teach about identities that are outside our own? What do we need to consider and what strategies can help our students when we introduce traditions, cultures, perspectives different from, and possibly challenging to, those with which they currently identify?
