The second annual Being Human Institute convened in September, organized by Constance Furey, Winni Sullivan, and Luca Fitzgerald and attended by the BHI cohort of nine scholars from the U.S., Germany, and Canada. The visiting scholar was IU PhD alum David Maldonado Rivera, now Chair of the Dept. of Religious Studies at Kenyon College, who workshopped a paper on medievalism and religion in Colonial Puerto Rico.
