Over the summer, Amber Lowe worked as the Faith Outreach Coordinator in Georgia State Representative William Boddie’s campaign for Georgia Labor Commissioner and Attorney Saira Draper’s campaign for Georgia House of Representatives District 90. Both candidates won their respective democratic primaries in runoff elections. Amber mobilized faith leaders and their congregations statewide to help Boddie win 63% of the vote, and especially those in DeKalb County, helping Draper win by more than 1,000 votes. Boddie stressed the importance of his race to USA Today amid allegations of human trafficking under GA’s current Department of Labor administration.
