Over the summer, Constance Furey participated in “Insubordinate Religiosities, Social Protests, and Uneasy Democracies in the Americas,” a workshop at the Universidad de los Andes, in Bogotá, Colombia. She contributed a paper on the South American afterlife of Thomas More’s sixteenth century book, Utopia, and facilitated a roundtable on Teaching Religion in Public.
