On May 2nd, Constance Furey joined her co-authors, Amy Hollywood and Sarah Hammerschlag in the Swift Hall Common Room at the University of Chicago Divinity School, for a discussion of their recent book Devotion: Three Inquiries in Religion, Literature, and Political Imagination (University of Chicago Press, 2021). The panel—memorably described by one attendee as “raucous”—brought together undergraduate and graduate students with faculty and community members.
