Laura Carlson Hasler’s contribution to the conversation “What is Scripture?” has been published in the online journal, Metatron. The essay, an adaptation of a 2020 public forum hosted by the Bible and Religions of the Ancient Near East (BRANE) Collective, responds to David Lambert’s recent challenge to the use of the term “scripture” in ancient Jewish contexts.
