At the American Academy of Religion (AAR) annual meeting, Aaron Stalnaker participated most directly in two panels. One was an “author meets critics” session on his book Mastery, Dependence, and the Ethics of Authority (Oxford University Press, 2020). Comments came from Thomas A. Lewis (Brown U.), Molly Farneth (Haverford College), Mercedes Valmisa (Gettysburg College), and Christopher Yang (Brown U.), with Aaron responding. He also participated in a panel on "Sumner B. Twiss’s Contributions to the Comparative Study of Religious Ethics,” which included several presenters with a response from Twiss.
