At the American Academy of Religion (AAR) annual conference in San Antonio, Furey responded to a new book by Michelle Sanchez, Calvin and the Resignification of the World, with remarks drawn from her column, “Calvin’s Questions.” At the same meeting, Furey also presided at a panel on Martin Luther and the politics of colonization and conquest in Reformation Europe.
