IU’s School of Education coordinates an international training program for K-12 teachers: IU Global Gateway for Teachers. As of 2021, the program added Ghana to its list of location options. To help start the program strong, Emily Stratton co-facilitated a cross-cultural training workshop for Ghana-bound teachers and developed a handbook for pragmatic guidance on getting around, communicating, and having a safe, enjoyable, productive learning experience in Ghana.
