Patrick Lally Michelson has been invited to be Guest Editor for a special issue of the open-source journal Religions. Contributors will explore the relationship between public discourse and Orthodox Christianity, with an emphasis on how these two categories, broadly conceived, shape and inform each other. Gheorghe Pacurar, a graduate student in our department, will contribute an article about how members of the Romanian Orthodox Church sought to engage the public sphere in the decade after the First World War.
