Rebecca Manring continues to participate in two reading groups focusing on premodern literature from eastern India, one dealing with prosody in devotional poetry, and the other reading the tale of the smallpox goddess. Meanwhile, her proposal on intertextuality in medieval Bengali literature has been accepted for the (virtual) 2021 Sanskrit Traditions in the Modern World symposium at Oxford University.
