Nicolò Sassi participated in the online Dumbarton Oaks/HMML advanced Syriac reading group. The group was organized by Dumbarton Oaks and the Hill Museum and Manuscript Library to support the scholars admitted to the Intensive Summer School 2020, later cancelled because of the COVID pandemic. The reading group met for four weeks and read in the original language several masterpieces of Syriac literature, ranging from the Doctrina Addai to a Pseudo-Ephremic dirge and a sixth century homily by Jacob of Serugh on prayer.
The College of Arts
