The year 2020 will mark the bicentenary of Adam Lord Gifford, in whose name the prominent Gifford Lecture series was established in the late nineteenth century. To mark this occasion, the University of Aberdeen is organizing a series of six commemorative lectures during the 2020-21 academic year.
Lisa Sideris, Professor of Religious Studies at Indiana University-Bloomington, was selected to be one of the speakers in this prestigious series. An active member of the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture (ISSRNC), Sideris is currently on the editorial board of the Journal for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture.
