Prof. Constance Furey delivered the Gross Memorial Lectures at Valparaiso University, speaking on faith as a critical term in Religious Studies and also on the place of death in utopian visions of the good life. The visit was hosted by a PhD alum, Ossama Abdelgawwad, who is now an Associate Professor at Valpo and recent recipient of a 2025 Life Worth Living Faculty Fellow at Yale University.
