The journal American Religion, edited by Profs. Cooper Harriss and Sarah Imhoff, with Managing Editor and PhD student Ellen Loucks, recently launched a major new online series. “Back Pages: The Present in Retrospect” invites a wide range of scholars to revisit their early work in light of how they see it now. The first two contributions—Jon Butler (Yale) on Awash in a Sea of Faith and Rebecca Alpert (Temple) on Like Bread on the Seder Plate—dropped this week as part of Series One, which will run through early November.
