Colby Townsend, a dual PhD student studying religion and literature of the long eighteenth century, recently had his essay, “Early Nineteenth-Century Biblical Scholarship and the Production of The Book of Mormon,” published in pre-print form in the Journal of the Bible and its Reception (de Gruyter). The printed form will be in the upcoming issue of the journal later this year but is available now on the journal’s website.
