In January, Candy Brown concluded her sabbatical leave by participating in two conference panels at the American Society of Church History annual meeting in Chicago. Two weeks later, she presented her research at the Louisville Institute Winter Seminar, a conference for awardees—in Brown’s case of a Sabbatical Grant for Researchers. Brown’s presentations included: “Methodological Challenges in Writing Biography,” “Pentecostals and Their Media,” and “Father Francis: A Critical Biography of Francis S. MacNutt, 1925-2020.”
