Constance Furey discussed Édouard Glissant’s view of the sacred, as described in his classic book, Poetics of Relation, at a roundtable discussion hosted by Redbud Books Collective in Bloomington. Glissant, a Martinican philosopher, poet, and literary critic, was the subject of a reading group at IUB’s Center for Theoretical Inquiry, convened by Anke Birkenmaier and Oana Panaite, who also moderated the roundtable.
