Sarah Imhoff participated in the New York Jewish Book Festival on a panel about American Jewish masculinity with scholars Miriam Mora and Ronnie Grinberg. Drawing on her recent book, Masculinity and the Making of American Judaism, Imhoff argues that American Jewish men in the early 20th century were seen as embodying a masculinity different from what was considered traditional American masculinity.
