At this year’s AAR, an Arts, Literature, and Religion Panel on “Violence, Nonviolence, and The Margins” was organized by PhD alum Ossama Abdulgawawad, currently Assistant Professor of Theology at Valparaiso, with a response by Constance Furey. Furey also moderated a roundtable discussion organized by a former IUB colleague, Miryam Segal, on Robert Kawashima’s The Archeology of Ancient Israelite Knowledge (IU Press, 2022).
