The Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) awarded Amber Lowe the Fellowship for Doctoral Students of African Descent for the 2024-2025 academic year. The fellowship includes a $30,000 award, a travel stipend dedicated to Lowe’s guild meeting, and access to an FTE mentor. The application process was very competitive, and the selection committee was particularly impressed with Lowe’s academic achievement and the promise that her work holds for religious studies and theological scholarship.
