Amber Lowe was a featured panelist at the second annual Black Liberation Theology Institute (BLTI) in New Jersey. Lowe also spoke at the inaugural convening in 2023. BLTI was founded by Rev. Cassius Rudolph, one of the last students taught by James Cone, PhD at Union Theological Seminary, and is the only institute of its kind. BLTI is dedicated to the study and promotion of Black Theology. It seeks to promote the spiritual and social liberation of black people by encouraging a critical engagement with the Christian faith and the development of a Black theological perspective.
