Students in the College of Arts and Sciences ASPIRE Semester overseas study program recently met with the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, who has an MA degree from IU (and an active Facebook page, featuring pictures with the IU students). Constance Furey was not part of the visit but is now in Galway, teaching a six-week course, Green Christianity, to an intrepid group of College students.
