An interdisciplinary graduate conference “Time and Things” co-sponsored by the program in Ancient Studies and the Medieval Studies Institute was held at IU in late March. Sammy Allen presented his paper “Providential Computation: Reconstructing Theodoret’s Theology of History” on the role of divine providence in Theodoret of Cyrus’s Ecclesiastical History.
