Winnifred Sullivan gave a talk at the Università degli Studi dell’Insubria in early December titled “The Political Life of Disestablished Religion in the US.” This talk was part of a series of talks on “U.S. Towards the Presidential Elections: A City Come Down from the Hill?” She also participated in a manuscript workshop with faculty and students on her forthcoming book on Joan of Arc. Insubria University is a public university with campuses in Como, Varese and Busto Arsizio, Italy. Alessandro Ferrari of the University of Insubria will visit Bloomington in April 2024, giving a series of seminars on canon law.
