Sabina Ali got a chance to present her paper on food labels and settler colonialism and be on a panel with a friend and IU RELS alumna, Morgan Barbre (who presented her paper, “On Jell-O: Sensing Whiteness, Crafting Subjects in the Twentieth Century”), at the American Academy of Religion Annual Meetings in San Antonio. Sabina also finished her term as the AAR Student Director on the Board, and she and Moriah Reichert got to meet and nerd out with their favorite podcasters of Keeping It 101, Megan Goodwin and Ilyse Morgenstein Fuerst.
