Indiana University Bloomington held an all day celebration for Indigenous Peoples’ Day on Oct 9th with special guests Ryan Singer, Michelle Reed, & Ronnie Preston. Ahead of Indigenous Peoples Day, the university announced it will establish a scholarship and support program for students from Indigenous communities across the United States who have historically been excluded from opportunity and access to higher education. This initiative was supported by the Religious Studies faculty and will be available beginning with those applying for the fall 2024 term.
