On Monday, Sept. 11th, Teaching Religion in Public will host a fellowship workshop, featuring four visitors: Mona Oraby, editor of The Immanent Frame and co-creator of A Universe of Terms: Religion in Visual Metaphor; Heather Miller Rubens, Executive Director at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, Jewish Studies; Rebecca Schorsch, dramaturge for the Inheritance Project; and Joe Bartzel, a Religion, Spirituality, and Democratic Renewal Fellow at the Social Science Research Council. This event launches TRiP’s Spring 2024 program of competitive fellowships, open to all IUB graduate students, for individual Engaging Religion projects.
