We are thrilled to share with you that Sean Sidky, who received his Ph.D. in 2022, has won a major prize for his dissertation, “No Letters Arrive Anymore: American Yiddish Holocaust Literature.” It was selected as the winner of the University Distinguished Ph.D. Dissertation Award for 2023 in the Humanities category. A single winner is awarded every other year. As the announcement from the university said, “This is the highest honor for research that Indiana University bestows upon its graduate students.”
