Laura Carlson Hasler co-presented a paper this summer at the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS) Annual Meeting in July. The paper argues that the biblical book of Daniel imagines Persian media practices to be uniquely connected to concepts of truth. Carlson Hasler wrote the paper with James Nati (Santa Clara University).
