
David Haberman recently returned from another teaching adventure on the Semester at Sea ship. This was the third time he sailed as a faculty member on this program, and the 50th-year anniversary of his own Semester at Sea voyage as a student the spring semester of 1973. After flying to Mumbai with his wife Sandy at the beginning of December to travel in India for a month visiting old friends and favorite places, he flew from Mumbai to Dubai to board the ship for a full semester of teaching World Religions, Environmental Ethics, and a comparative seminar on Sacred Journeys and Pilgrimage.
