In May, Maggie Slaughter traveled to the Newberry Library in Chicago for an interactive manuscript workshop at the Center for Renaissance Studies. Focusing on dimensional paper engineering in printed texts from the fifteenth through nineteenth centuries, the workshop will explore how to manipulate, handle, and exhibit manuscripts with movable parts.
