Moriah Reichert attended Midwest AAR March 23-25 in Springfield, Missouri where she presented a paper titled “How’s God? She’s Black: Paul Tillich and Sylvia Wynter in Conversation.” This paper was developed with Professor Meredith Lee through Moriah’s PhD minor in Gender Studies. At the business meeting, Moriah was elected as the new Midwest AAR student director. In her new position, she will work with the Midwest AAR board and provide development and networking opportunities for colleagues across the region. She continues the tradition of IU students holding this position, including recent alum Abby Kulisz.
