Laura Carlson Hasler was a panelist at an event titled “Queering the Text,” hosted by the University of Mary Washington on April 20. This virtual panel brought together scholars of Jewish and Christian antiquity to discuss the possibilities and challenges of queer interpretations of the Bible. This student-led event was sponsored by the Khatib Program, under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Barry.
