Engaging Religion, an online series about teaching religion, published three exceptional new pieces: Aaron Glass’s (Bard) essay, which discusses the intellectual and ethical heart of his curatorial mandate and the challenge of translating different ontologies of the material world; Doctoral student Samuel Ernest’s (Yale) teaching module on the queer experience in Christian spaces; and Benjamin Hebblethwaite’s (U of FL) essay on using the Kreyòl spelling system as tool for religious knowledge.
To help a broader community involved in engaging religion with various publics, TRiP (Teaching Religion in Public) is sponsoring academic contributions in the form of essays and teaching modules from scholars and educators who think and teach about religion.
