Jacob Boss delivered two talks at Arizona State University during the conference of the International Society for the Study of Religion, Nature, and Culture. Boss’ first talk, “Gods of Blood and Salt: Dante’s Transhumanism Revisited” explored earthy, visceral, and pagan influences in the history of transhumanism. His second talk, “Transhumanism is for Punks” argued the urgent need for a new, anti-oppressive, history of transhumanism focused on the grassroots.
