Each year, the Department of Religious Studies presents an award to an undergraduate student whose Senior Honor Essay (REL-R 499) shows particular academic distinction. All essays submitted to this competition are reviewed by members of the Department’s Undergraduate Studies Committee, which then selects the most exceptional essay.

The winning essay receives a monetary prize of $250.
